West Sussex’s Pro Shop provides a warm welcome to members and visitors, and has an extensive range of equipment, from tees and ball markers to the most advanced drivers. Head Professional Tim Packham and his staff are there to make sure that your time with us is as enjoyable as possible.
Head Professional
Tim Packham joined West Sussex as Head PGA professional in 1987 after spending eight years as assistant professional at Walton Heath. Renowned for his coaching skills, Tim has great experience in guiding golfers of all ages and abilities. Tim is expert in all areas of club fitting using the latest technology to find clubs suited to each player’s requirements.
Custom Club Fitting
We have the knowledge, experience and technology to customise equipment to your own personal specification, creating more accurate shots and longer drives.
Employing our state of the art inside outside swing studio equipped with Trackman 4 technology, we’re able to offer a comprehensive fitting experience, providing you with ball and club data in order to help make educated decisions and for us guide you towards the right clubs, whatever the weather. With demo clubs from Callaway, Yonex, Mizuno, Ping and others for you to try there is no shortage of ways to improve your game.
Golf Tuition
A comprehensive range of tuition is available for visitors, societies and corporate clients, from individual lessons to group coaching and golf clinics. Individual lessons can be structured to your game

Performance Studio
Using the Trackman 4 Launch Monitor, with Dual Radar flight tracking, we can help analyse and improve every aspect of your game, and our simulator enables you to test your skills on all the world’s famous courses.
Equipment Hire
Buggies
Buggies are available for those with a medical requirement. Visitors (or members) can reserve a buggy in advance, subject to availability, by calling the professional’s shop.
The cost for 18 holes is £30 (for 36 holes £50)
Club Hire
Visitors can also reserve a set of clubs in advance, again subject to availability, at a cost of £30 per round. Please state your playing ability when calling to reserve your hire set.
Range Balls
If you wish to practice before your round, tokens can be purchased for the ball machine at a cost of £2.00 for 20 balls for visitors. Members can purchase range balls at a discounted rate. The range is open during the hours of the professional’s shop.
Electric Trolleys
The hire cost for 18 holes is £10.00
Pull Trolleys
Pull trolleys can be hired from the professional’s shop at a cost of £5 per round.
