Head Professional
Sam Cowley joined us in 2025 as our new Head PGA Professional. He replaces Tim Packham, who served the club from 1987 and was the brains behind the tricolour logo our club has become synonymous with. Sam worked with Tim for a number of years as his assistant, prior to spells at Royal Ashdown Forest and Haywards Heath. Sam is a wonderful addition to our team and is on hand to help members and visitors alike with everything from club fitting to tuition and merchandise.
Equipment Hire
Buggies
Buggies are available for those with a medical requirement. Visitors (or members) can reserve a buggy in advance, subject to availability, by calling the professional’s shop.
The cost for 18 holes is £30 (for 36 holes £50)
Club Hire
Visitors can also reserve a set of clubs in advance, again subject to availability, at a cost of £30 per round. Please state your playing ability when calling to reserve your hire set.
Range Balls
If you wish to practice before your round, tokens can be purchased for the ball machine at a cost of £2.00 for 20 balls for visitors. Members can purchase range balls at a discounted rate. The range is open during the hours of the professional’s shop.
Electric Trolleys
The hire cost for 18 holes is £10.00
Pull Trolleys
Pull trolleys can be hired from the professional’s shop at a cost of £5 per round.
Golf Tuition & Custom Club Fitting
We offer a select programme of tuition and club fitting for members and visiting golfers. Lessons can be arranged on request, and our indoor studio, equipped with TrackMan, provides a comfortable space for coaching and simple fitting sessions in all weather conditions.
