West Sussex is delighted to welcome visiting golfers. A day here should feel special, classic heathland golf, wonderful food, and the timeless atmosphere of a club shaped by tradition.

To help us look after you properly, all visitors are asked to book in advance. Tee times can be reserved quickly and easily using our online booking system, or by calling the secretary.

As a two ball club, all play is in singles or foursomes. This preserves the rhythm, charm, and strategy the course was designed for, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone. Many guests choose to play 36 holes of foursomes when visiting us for the first time, which is a wonderful way to experience the course while still hitting every tee shot and approach in the day (providing you alternate tees in the afternoon round).
Societies
West Sussex lends itself beautifully to society golf. The rhythm of fast two-ball play, followed by a traditional club lunch in our dining room, creates a day that feels both special and wonderfully unhurried. With exceptional hospitality and an intimate atmosphere throughout the clubhouse, it is a setting that many groups return to year after year.
